We’re pleased to have merged with Fusion Credit Union, bringing together two trusted institutions to create a stronger and more efficient organisation to better serve your financial needs.
As a valued member of Fusion Credit Union, you will automatically become a member of Citysave Credit Union as of Friday 6th June. We will be in touch via email with your new member number and further information about your new membership with us.
We understand that you may have questions about what this merger means for you and your money, here are some key points to note:
Telephone Opening Hours (there is no walk-in branch):
Our telephone opening hours at Citysave Credit Union are as follows:
– 9am – 4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays
– On Thursdays we are open from 10am – 4pm
No Cash Withdrawals:
Please note that cash withdrawal services are not available. However, you can access your funds through the following options:
– Via the Citysave mobile app (you can do this after you have received your membership number)
– By calling the office on 0121 616 6200
Same Day Payments:
We offer same-day payments to a nominated bank account in your name. Withdrawals to third-party accounts are not permitted. If you do not currently have an account in your name, we recommend arranging one, or a prepaid card, ahead of the merger.
ID Verification:
In order to comply with regulations and to protect your account, we may require further evidence of your identity. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
Loan Decisions:
You can apply for a loan at www.citysave.org.uk or through the mobile app. We aim to provide decisions within two working days. As a responsible lender, we carefully assess key factors to ensure any loan offered is suitable and manageable. This includes reviewing your credit score, conducting affordability checks on your income and expenses, and considering any other relevant information to confirm your ability to repay. Our aim is to lend responsibly and support your financial well-being.
You will get an email informing you of your new membership number as well as a list of all the services we provide.
Citysave does not have a walk-in branch, however the Fusion office will remain open at the current location (Curborough Community Centre, Reynolds Cl, Lichfield WS13 7NY) Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:30. The hours are subject to change.
Citysave does not offer a pre-paid card, nor do we offer cash withdrawals. You will need to open a bank account or obtain a pre-paid card and share the details with Citysave. (The account must be in your name)
As a Citysave member, you will have full access to all our services. You may have a maximum of 2 loans at any one time (subject to eligibility/affordability checks). For more information, visit https://www.citysave.org.uk/our-products/
You can set up a direct debit, to arrange this, call us on 0121 616 6200.
You can set-up a standing order from your bank. Please quote your National insurance number in the payment reference field. You can also make additional deposits when required, quoting your National insurance number in the payment reference field.
Yes, you will need to set up a standing order to make regular savings. Please ask your Bank to pay Citysave Credit Union at Lloyds Bank 30-64-10 Account 39144568 and quote your National insurance number as the reference. Alternatively, you may wish to set up a direct debit to save, we can set this up via a phone call- please call us on 0121 616 6200
The old Fusion office will be manned for enquires, details of savings and loans, products and how to communicate with Citysave. Curborough office hours 09.30 to 12.30 Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays)
