You’re also more likely to be accepted for a personal payroll loan than with a traditional bank loan, because it is repaid as a salary deduction.

Calculating your loan

You can apply for a payroll loan up to £15,000 if you are employed by Birmingham City Council or an employer partnering Citysave under a payroll deduction scheme.

If you are not employed by a employer offer payroll deduction payments, but are an existing Citysave member,  you can apply to pay by direct debit under a Personal loan.

If you are neither an existing member or employed by a Citysave payroll partner, you can apply for a Welcome loan.
