Who are we?
We’re Citysave, a non-profit credit union serving Birmingham & Warwickshire communities.
We protect people from financial harm. Simply put, our services help you take control of your finances.
We pride ourselves on being a responsible lender which enables people in the West Midlands & Warwickshire areas to save, borrow and plan for tomorrow.
We recognise the impact of financial difficulties – which have become an issue in many walks of life. One of our goals is to promote better management of finances, with our ethical lending and other helpful financial services. Being not-for-profit is one of the things that makes us different from high street banks. But like banks, we are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, as well as the Prudential Regulation Authority – giving you peace of mind.
A better place to borrow
Every year, we provide thousands of loans to members who use them to start a new life of responsible, manageable borrowing and improve their ongoing financial situation.
With a responsible APR of 12.7% to 19.6%, our loans are the alternative to payday loans and other forms of dangerous easy lending. Our interest rates are a fraction of that of a payday loan, and they’re also monitored to ensure that they are competitive with high street banks.
How much can you borrow?
You can use our loan calculator to see how much you could borrow and what you’d repay. Please note: the calculator provides you with estimates – your actual payments may be different, depending on your credit profile.
Our savings plans protect against financial emergencies and longer-term requirements such as saving for next year’s holiday or home improvements.
