Malcolm has worked in retail and commercial banking for more than 40 years. He started his career with NatWest Bank, before spending over 25 years in Lloyds Banking Group, focussing primarily on credit and risk management. Malcolm retired at the end of 2019, after almost 6 years as the Chief Risk Officer for Paragon Bank, a FTSE 250 banking group based in Solihull. In addition to his role as Chair of Citysave, Malcolm is a non-executive director of Reliance Bank Ltd and a volunteer mentor with a charity which aims to inspire and develop disadvantaged young migrants. Malcolm has lived and worked in the West Midlands for almost 30 years.
