Please ANSWER EVERY QUESTION - this helps us to assess your loan thoroughly and as quickly as we can. Please be honest on the application form - if you are not then we may refuse your application immediately and take further action. Difficulty Repaying Your Loan?
Some of our members experience difficulty repaying their loans due to unforeseen circumstances. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do all we can to try to help. We will review your income and expenditure and may restructure your loan if necessary. We have many members who we support in this way, and once you are back on your feet you can borrow again from us.
However, please note that we are a membership organisation and it is crucial that loans are repaid. We therefore have to pursue all loans to be repaid fully, and we do not write off any loan without taking a range of actions against the borrower.

Junior Saving Account
Cool Savers is our Junior Saving Accout. This is available to children of adult members, from birth age up to the age of 16 years.

When you save regularly, you are building a level of financial security in your life, and we always recommend our members have some savings for a rainy day.
We also provide saving plans for longer term plans such as saving for your next year holiday, your children, Christmas, a mortgage deposit, home improvement or even retirement.

We have a range of loans which are tailored to meet your needs. Our long term regular savers can apply for loans based on their savings at lower interest rates, and we monitor these rates to ensure that they are competitive with the high street banks.

You will need to supply bank statements and evidence of income, but once we have all the information for your loan assessment, we aim to come back to you with a decision within 2 days.
Payment Protection
Will you be able to maintain loan repayments if you are not working as a result of poor health, an accident or redundancy?
All loans issued by Citysave Credit Union (aged over 18 and under the age of 65, to a maximum of £10,000) receive FREE life insurance for the primary person named on the agreement.
