Interactive Digital Television is providing a new route to access Birmingham City Council services in the comfort of your own home.
Subscribers to Sky Digital, Virgin Media or Freeview with broadband services can access Birmingham''s local digital channel and use it to find jobs, report problems like graffiti and potholes, look at what’s on and find out about telecare services from the City Council and much more.
Viewers can click on a number of links to over 50 information and service areas that covers jobs, bus and train travel information as well as a trial GP appointment booking facility – includes interactive advice and guidance from the Community Legal Services and JobCentre Plus with up to the minute jobs and opportunities available in Birmingham.
